Hi, I’m Julia.
I make jewellery for women who are drawn to pieces for reasons they don’t always need to explain. The kind of pieces you put on and instantly feel more like yourself — grounded, confident, comfortable in your own skin.
Jewellery chosen because it resonates, not because it’s everywhere. Jewellery that becomes part of your everyday life, quietly collecting meaning as you wear it.
Why I make jewellery
I was drawn to jewellery making because of the way it brings together material, memory, and time. There’s something powerful about taking raw metal and stone and shaping it slowly into something someone will wear for years, maybe decades.
Over time, I stopped trying to make jewellery that appealed to everyone. That shift changed everything.
Now, I make pieces that feel honest. Pieces that don’t shout for attention, but have a presence you notice when you live with them. Jewellery that invites a connection, not just admiration.
Letting materials lead the way
My designs begin with the materials.
Often it’s a gemstone that sets the tone — its colour, texture, or quiet imperfections guiding the direction of the piece. I don’t force stones into trends or formulas. I listen to them and design in response.
That’s why every piece is one of a kind. It’s also why each piece feels slightly different, even when they share a similar shape or idea. They’re allowed to be themselves, just like the women who wear them.
Made slowly, by hand, from start to finish
Every piece is handcrafted by me on the South Coast of NSW.
I work slowly at my bench, shaping fine metals and setting carefully chosen gemstones using traditional metalsmith techniques. There’s no mass production here, no shortcuts, just a thoughtful process that leaves room for refinement, adjustment, and care.
This way of working means I can pay attention to the details that matter most: balance, weight, texture, and how a piece feels once it becomes part of your body.
