Deep Current Ring | Boulder Opal & Sterling Silver

You saw this stone and something in you already knew. That oceanic blue, moving between cool and vivid depending on the light, with electric green flashing across the surface as your hand shifts. It is not decorative. It is alive.

Boulder opals from Winton, Queensland form within ironstone host rock, and that ironstone stays with the stone. It is not removed, not polished away. It remains, grounding the colour play in something ancient, something that came from deep in the earth and carries that origin with it.

The setting was built around this stone specifically. A clean bezel in sterling silver, high-shine finish, holding the opal flush and secure without crowding it. The band is considered and wearable, something you reach for without thinking about it.

This ring was made slowly, by hand, at my bench. It is for the woman who does not save beautiful things for later. She wears what matters to her, every single day. There is only one. If it feels like yours, it probably is.
