Twilight Glow Ring | Lightning Ridge Opal 9K Gold

There is a particular quality of light just before dusk, when the sky holds several colours at once and none of them are competing.

This stone has that quality.

Pulled from the opal fields of Lightning Ridge, New South Wales, it carries a soft grey-lavender body tone that reads differently depending on where you are and how the light falls. Indoors, it is calm and considered. In sunlight, small fires of red and green move across its surface, appearing briefly and then settling again.

It does not ask for attention. It simply has presence.

The twisted 9K gold band was chosen for this stone specifically. The movement in the band echoes the movement inside the stone, two things that feel like they belong together without needing to explain why.

This ring was made slowly, by hand, at my bench. It is for the woman who trusts that feeling when something is right without needing to talk herself into it. There is only one. If it feels like yours, it probably is.
